Learning Disability is a neuro-developmental disorder that impedes the ability to learn or use specific academic skills (e.g., reading, writing, or arithmetic), which are collectively considered as the foundation for other academic learning. Current statistics reveals that about 15-20% of school children have some forms of learning disability. Children with learning disabilities are as smart as or smarter than their peers. But they may have difficulty in reading, writing, spelling, reasoning, recalling and/or organizing information if left to figure things out by them or if taught in conventional ways.

For teaching children with disabilities, specially trained teachers are required. However, such trained teachers are phenomenally scarce in every society.
